CANADA POSTAL STRIKE INFORMATION / FAQ

Are you still shipping to Canada?

 

Orders will still be accepted from Canadian customers as normal and will be processed as per Alanah’s current processing timeframe required to create sculptures. Once your sculpture is completed, your order will placed on temporary hold and dispatched via express/priority shipping as soon as confirmation is received that the strike has ended and Australia Post is accepting shipments to Canada again. 

Please DO NOT place an order if you are unwilling to wait for these expected delays. Due to the nature of this service, with each order being handcrafted by the artist, refunds will NOT be accepted for these delays or change of mind. The customer agrees fully to these terms when placing their order.

 

Will you ship through another postal service?

 

With DHL courier express being the only (more expensive) option, and still experiencing similar delays, we will not be using or accepting alternative shipping methods at this time. Alanah reliably ships all of her Canadian parcels through registered/tracked Australia Post and will continue to only accept orders under this courier service. 

 

UPDATE: 18th Dec, Australia

 

The Canada Post workers strike is over, but it is going to still take time to move the millions of parcels that have been waiting in backlog to be delivered.

 

Your order will unfortunately still experience delays, until this backlog is cleared and Australia Post has ceased their suspension of shipments to Canada.

 

Alanah sincerely apologises for the inconvenience this has caused at this special time of year. Thank you kindly for your patience and continued support.
